Sodium sulphide and hydrosulphide can be used in many different industrial applications: mining (flotation of mineral ores), leather tanning (unhairing of hides), waste water treatment (sequestering agent of heavy metals ions), chemicals manufacturing and pulp and paper processing (Kraft process).
